Growing up I lived in 4 different states by the age of 14, finally finding California as our forever home and where I met my wonderful husband Paul. As life took its course, I always wondered what my story, my legacy would be. As I battled with addiction and insecurities in myself I found myself at a crossroads. God finally had opened a door for me finding a new healthy lifestyle that created a fire inside myself I had never felt before, PURPOSE. As I started to blossom, I made a declaration that one day I would become a drag racer.
October 10th 2019, I went down the drag strip. With a perfect reaction time and the most exhilarating feeling I have ever had, the only thing that mattered to me was the track and racing with people I love. Seeing the support, love and friendships I built being at the track I knew deep down I had more in me. Calling me to keep building this legacy. So I created G.I.R.L. A woman uplifting and empowering woman racers and supporters of all ages. When people say do what you love, I never thought I would find it. At 52 years old, I can say never quit on yourself or your dreams. I am living my dream everyday and it just keeps getting better.
