Born and raised in Southern California, my family had been going to the race track since before I can remember. We are a family of car fans. My dad loves to tell people how when I was about 4 years old, we were at Ascot Speedway watching the demolition derby and I was standing in front, clutching the chain link fence when I turned to yell “Daddy, this is more fun than Looney Tunes!” We watch automobile races on the weekends. I’m just waiting for my “sugar daddy” to pay for my demo derby car.
